Previous Years - 2004

JANUARY: A great start to the New Year includes expounding various psalms to the ship's company and speaking at pastors' conferences on board the Logos 2 in Rodman, PANAMA

FEBRUARY: Dozens openly commit themselves at the launch of SRI LANKA'S first ever interdenominational indigenous mission agency.

MARCH: We meet two pastors, supported by AMEN, who are touching hundreds of lives in the Manila area of the PHILIPPINES. We also make some family visits and have some good ministry opportunities.

APRIL: Easter services in 3 churches near Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA were very well received.

MAY: The Doulos in Londonderry and Dublin, IRELAND provided unique opportunities to share the message of reconciliation as well as help in the ongoing process of reconciliation.

JUNE: It was an unforgettable privilege to share the gospel in the Playhouse in Edinburgh, SCOTLAND to over 2300 people.

JULY: The largest annual evangelistic event in POLAND attracts several thousands every day during this unique week. To see people of all ages coming forward night by night in the great marquee was awesome.

AUGUST: There can be few better ways to improve your spiritual and physical health than by cycling with Oak Hall in Provence, FRANCE. A number made recommitments to the Lord.

SEPTEMBER: Expounding 1 Timothy to a dynamic, motivated group of young people at a Bible School for the Karen tribe in THAILAND is a great privilege.

OCTOBER: Church weekends in Sunderland, Dorset and FRANCE see many encouraged. It also gives us the opportunity to present the challenge of both AMEN and  missions.

NOVEMBER: While the devastating Tsunami kills tens of thousands, AIDS is killing tens of millions. We see for ourselves in Jos, NIGERIA  that AMEN is making a small but real difference in many lives by partnering with Grace and Light International.

DECEMBER: We walk away from a car crash that left our vehicle beyond economic repair. During a visit to the Logos Hope in DENMARK, one of the volunteers starts crying during the morning devotions. She later explains that she has torn up the prayer letter she has just written as all the excuses she had made about not being able to serve God in missions had been demolished! A Christian workers' retreat in Marrakech, MOROCCO marks the 89th country Gareth has visited.
