Gareth Bolton - my background

I live in Dartford, Kent (near London) in England. I became a Christian during my first year as a student at a teachers' training college in Norwich in 1968, and in July 1997, married Malou (née Domingo) from the Philippines.
We are full-time members of Operation Mobilisation
(OM), an international and interdenominational mission organisation of about 4000 people working in over 100 countries throughout the world. My
link with OM dates back to around 1980, before which time I spent a |

I speak regularly for Oak Hall Expeditions, a Christian travel firm working out of the UK which ministers in schools, colleges and university Christian Unions. My ministry is extremely varied and I am equally at home with children, college students and regular church congregations - giving Bible exposition, mission exhortation and evangelistic messages. I have frequently visited OM's 2 ships, the MV Doulos and MV Logos II where I have been one of the main speakers in both conferences on board and churches on shore.

In 1996, I launched the UK based charity AMEN which is dedicated to supporting several Christian ministries in developing nations. Currently 11 workers around the world are regularly receiving donations.
Over the last few years, there have been various invitations to minister in Bible schools and Colleges. Since its foundation, I have visited and lectured annually at a Bible school which is now situated in Belgrade, Serbia (former Yugoslavia). I recently spoke about 'the prophesy of Isaiah' over a two week period. Other regular commitments include teaching a joint OM/Wycliffe missions course in Malaysia, together with several visits to a training centre in Algeria as well as a Bible school in Thailand. |

Malou and I are members of Dartford Christian Fellowship (DCF), a local church in our home town. Click here to enter our church's website. I sometimes speak there when in the UK. though most Sundays I am invited to preach in other fellowships.
Malou and I send out a monthly update to over 1100 people mostly by email but some by mail. You can request this by emailing gareth.bolton@ict.om.org and writing 'subscribe update' in the subject line.
For
hobbies I would list jogging,
listening to all types of music, travelling, reading and writing as particular interests. Malou enjoys gardening, needle craft, giving hospitality,
painting, personal evangelism and doing creative ministry, especially mime. We have both found that,
without exception, the Lord (through His people) has
always supplied all our financial needs.
